WARNING: I am sharing some of the projects that I have done and have worked for me.
December 5th, 2013. Snow storms are here
Thanks for coming by. I took what I believe will be my last run in the mustang for the season. Winter storms are heading this way. You know what that means right? Mustang project time in the garage! |

Yup! You read right. I am collecting EFI parts to swap this baby over and kick the carb. I've enjoyed driving the car but I feel like I can make it better. Since my mustang is a 'no value' mustang meaning it has no collector value to anyone but me. So with that in mind and keeping with the 'Restomod' trend EFI is in the future. As usual it will be done with a thrifty budget. So far I have spent $205 total for the parts I have collected. I will do up a detailed page of the whole swap and how and if it works. Update: I'm still collecting parts but I'm not in a hurry. When I decide to do this, I will have a page. First up, is clean up the parts that I have already collected. Then a nice coat of paint.
You gotta drive these cars!
I totally get that today's cars are safer, quieter, cleaner, etc.. But if you have one of these old cars you have got to drive them. Just my opinion. Even when your car is a beater like mine, people are always happy to see a car like this on the road. I try to drive mine as often as I can. Work, gym, family functions, or just down to the local home depot. Take the mustang!
