I am selling my bmw. It is pretty fair condition for its age. This was my daily driver for about 3.5 years. It has never let me down. It is currently only started about once a week and isn't driven much. The body is showing some signs of rust in spots and the clear is peeling on the hood. The interior is in fiar shape. There are rips in the drivers bucket seat and 3 cracks in the dash and one small tear in the head liner (2 inches). Both are not unusal for a car of this age.
-The rear defrost does not work. Don't know why.
-The ac does work but it needs charged.
-Full sized spare in the trunk and holds air.
-The cruse worked but recently stopped working. I suspect it is the switch under the dash on the break but I am not sure.
-The speedo works some times and some times it does not.
-The odometer stopped working before I got the car. It shows about 200K right now but I feel the car really has more of about 245k on it.
-The shifter is a little sloppy. It might need new bushings in the shifter to take away the play.
I have had a new water pump put on the car, new belts, had the valve lash set, and new plugs put in.
This is the information I got on the car when I bought it from the previous owner (his sales ad):

Previous Owners Sale Ad:
1987 BMW 325is: I have owned the car for 2 years. In the last two years I have had the following work completed: New front end suspension. 04/06 Four new tires in 07/07. Re-conditioned head 03/07. New timing belt 03/07 New v-belts 03/07 New water pump 03/07 New Battery 07/07 In addition to regularly scheduled maintenance. All the electrical components work: Windows Moon roof Antenna OBC Power Mirrors Power Steering Power Brakes Cruise Control Air conditioning still blows cold The odometer stopped at 203,848 miles shortly after I purchased it. I would estimate that the car now has 215,000 miles. The car still drives amazingly well. It is still very fast and has a tremendous amount of torque. I have driven the car as a daily driver and it has been more than dependable. In March of 2007 I had the head re-conditioned and replaced. At this time the water pump, timing belt, belts and coolant components were replaced along with some regular maintenance work. The car also has a Kenwood removable cd/mp3 player/radio. I do have the original radio as well. There are some small areas of rust, most notably on the bottom of the driver and passenger doors. Some rust also on the tail plate and around the tail light on the passenger side. It does have a small oil leak that comes from the oil pan plug. My next project for the car was to replace the oil pan and plug. The interior needs some work. The driver side seat is torn but I have kept seat covers on both front seats since I have owned it. The dashboard does have some cracks. The back seat is still in very good condition and doesn’t have any tears. The backseat leather is still soft and is very comfortable to sit in. Overall, the car is still in very good condition considering it’s age and mileage. I always got compliments on it and it still turns heads. love to drive it but life changes require that I get something that is a little more family friendly.

I have met the last 3 owners of this car. The gentleman I bought the car from. The gentleman he bought it from. The previous owner to him was JustBMW that was set up on RedBank road.. This was there loaner car at the time.
I have a pile of receipts that date back to before I got this car. The motor still pulls very hard and the car handles great. It is a lot of fun to drive this car any time of the year. I get an average of about 21 to 23 mpg in the city.
UPDATE!
I sold this car on April 10, 2010. Best of luck Red Barron.
