I rebuild my carb and finally got my car up and running sweet. I have done lots of driving and take the car out when ever I can. The problem this time is when I pull into a store or a gas station and I shut the car off for a few min, I have to pump the gas to get the car going again. I did some reading and the theory is that the heat from the motor will make the carb hot and will boil the gas out leaving the bowls of the carb empty. To resolve this I picked up a spacer from a forum friend and installed it. This seems to have solved the problem and is a super easy install. Be sure to check for hood clearance on this project.
